Am I supposed to get holiday pay?

Well i work overnights from 9pm to 9am and I have worked the day before some holidays but I work 9 hrs going into the holiday and dont get paid holiday pay. Like for the 4th of July I work on Sunday night but get out at 9am on Monday 7/04. Should I get holiday pay for those 9hrs? Holiday pay is double and a half so the guy that works on the 4th of July is getting that rate for 12 hrs grrrrrr.
