Is leaving my one year old in a close family members care overnight too long? From 7pm-12pm ? Totaling 17 hour?

Hi. Just curious I like to go out once a week. I am a single mother. Do you guys think leaving my daughter with a close family member totalling 17 hours is too long? From hours 7pm-12pm the following afternoon? My family member made a comment most one year olds are babysat for 4-5 hours maybe from 9pm-2am and then go home. From asking around my friends have reported their mothers watching their babies or children for a whole weekend at a time! I woulden't want a whole weekend away from Gia... but just saying to comparison purposes. Please tell me your feelings thank you.yahooiens.
